Tangerine Dream
The lineup below is Chris Franke, Edgar Froese & Peter Baumann.
It is also my favorite "version" of Tangerine Dream. It lasted
from 1972 (maybe 1971) to 1977, in which period TD made 8 records, productive
as ever.
I
have now managed to collect all regular TD records (on CD) from their first
one, Electronic Meditation, to their last record for Virgin, Hyperborea,
released in 1983, as well as the first record they released on Zomba, the
live-album Poland recorded in late 1983. Their later studio-albums on Zomba
seem, to me at least, to be less appealing, as during the 80's, their style
changed, in a direction which doesn't interest me as much as their early
work.
